Kacaw在擔任行政院原住民族委員會企劃處處長的時候，協調行政院及內政部得以羅馬拼音並列我們原住民族的傳統名字，很遺憾的，當初沒有獲得行政院的支持，而我鍥而不捨，我拜託楊仁福立法委員提案修正姓名條例，在民國90年6月20號公布施行，原住民族傳統名字得以羅馬拼音並列登記。","很高興的就是，在我當立委之後提案修正姓名條例，但是沒有通過，經過我們原住民的鄉親、年輕人提起行政訴訟，獲得行政法院的判決勝訴，能夠以單列原住民傳統名字來去登記我們原住民的傳統名字。今年立法院第11屆高金素梅立委、天財Sra
